Allen has joined
Reata Property Management
as the new property manager at Alamo Quarry
Market/Quarry Crossing. Allen brings to Reata over
twenty years of retail shopping center management
experience. Allen has managed multiple shopping malls,
an outlet center along with experience in strip centers.
During his career, Allen has managed a cumulative 4.7
million square feet of retail shopping space.
Allen is a native of Texas, but has managed shopping
centers in Louisiana, Georgia, New York as well as
several malls in Texas. Previous to Reata, Allen worked
for General Growth Properties, Inc. at the Enterprise
Asset Management owned Mall del Norte shopping mall in
Laredo, Texas for 4 years. Allen also has previous
management experience with The Simon Group, Pyramid
Management Group, Urban Retail Properties, and Prime
Retail Properties. Allen brings to Reata a wealth of
industry knowledge and experience due to his employment
with these national shopping center developers.
Allen earned his Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM)
designation in 1986 while working with the Simon Group.
Allen has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech
University. Allen has been an active Rotarian in Odessa
and Laredo, Texas as well as McIntosh County, Georgia
where Allen was named “Rotarian of the Year” for the
Rotary year 1999-2000. Allen is also a “Paul Harris
Fellow.”
