“Project leasing is a craft. When done successfully, it requires an understanding of each shopping center’s demographic and the merchandise, restaurants, services and entertainment they deserve. One must strategically place each business within the center so that they extend and enhance the shopping experience of the customer while benefiting one another and not cannibalizing parking. It’s a delicate balance, but when achieved, sales at the shopping center are generally higher, tenant turnover is minimized and value is added for both owners and tenants and shoppers.”
